Coffee & Commerce: Legislative Budget Writers

The WVCC is proud to host Senator Christine Rolfes,  Senate Ways and Means Committee Chair; Senator John Braun, Senate Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member; Representative Steven Tharinger, (invited) House Capital Budget Committee Chair; and Representative Mike Steele, House Capital Budget Committee Assistant Ranking Member for a virtual roundtable discussion. These budget writers will be sharing their expertise on the budget process and how this year’s budget will be impacted by COVID-19. Ahead of the 2021 legislative session, this will be an opportunity for Chamber Members and the community to learn about the budget writing process, the challenges the Legislature will face due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how businesses could be impacted. We hope you can join us October 8^th at 8am!
