Groundbreaking Celebration

Join us for a groundbreaking event celebrating the Museum’s exciting Branch Out transformation. This is a free family-friendly event and your final chance to visit the Museum before the transformation begins. The schedule: 8:00: Rummage Sale Early Access-Comb through selected Museum items for a piece of history. $10 entry fee until 10:00am 10:15: Live music begins with dancers from Lewis and Clark Elementary School and goes on throughout the day featuring local talent 11:00: Groundbreaking ceremony, complete with a Miss Veedol fly-over Noon: Food trucks open 12:30: Behind-the-scenes guided tours of the Museum begin 2:00-4:00: Organ is played 4:00: Groundbreaking celebration ends Activities for children include a construction zone with large foam blocks, an archaeology dig complete with sand pits with buried "artifacts,", face painting, and more.
