Spend Memorial Day weekend up the Entiat at the Pine Flats Campground with master photographer John Marshall, learning nature photography techniques. Sponsored by the Wenatchee Valley Museum, the workshop is designed for intermediate photographers; please bring your own camera with manual controls and a tripod. John will demonstrate how to recognize a good subject, match lighting with the scene, augment lighting, and take pictures of people in nature. On several field trips, participants also will learn about plant and bird life and forest recovery following wildfire devastation. Meals are included in registration fee. Campground is reserved Friday evening through Monday noon; family members not participating in the workshop are welcome to camp (bringing their own food). Actual instruction begins Saturday.
