Fourteen wineries from the Columbia Cascade region will converge at the museum to present their medal-winning wines for tasting. Paired with the wines will be creations by Wenatchee-area chefs including appetizers, entrees and desserts. Guests are invited to meander through the museum while sampling the flavors of the region. The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center celebrates and preserves the history, arts, sciences and rich diversity of the mid-Columbia region from the Ice Age to the present. Each guest will receive a punch card for 20 samples of wines or dishes; additional 10-punch cards will be available for $10. A highlight of the evening will be a raffle for a handsome wine cooler filled with top-flight Columbia Cascade wines. This festive event celebrates the growing wine industry of the Columbia Cascade region, which encompasses Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan and northern Grant counties. Participating restaurants include Shakti?s, Visconti?s, Smokeblossom and Inna?s Cuisine.
